Last month, we talked about some of the awesome debuts that 2015 is bringing us. This month, we thought it would be fun to dish about some of our most anticipated sequels. We have bunches but were able to narrow it down to our top 15 (for 2015).
Blood Passage by Heather Demetrios
The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
We’re huge fangirls of Rainbow Rowell, so it’s a no brainer that we are excited to hear she’s writing a companion to Fangirl.
Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge
Technically, this is a companion to Cruel Beauty, but since it’s all happening in the same universe, we’re counting it as a sequel. We just have this feeling that they will share the bond of major swooning.
Deceptive by Emily Lloyd-Jones
We really enjoyed Illusive and can’t wait for more!
Golden Son by Pierce Brown
If you know us at all, you know we’re slightly obsessed with all things Pierce Brown. We even have a Red Rising fansite. We already read and loved this book, and we know you will, too.
The Heir by Kiera Cass
We loved almost everything about The Selection Series, and though we think it will kill us waiting for more after this, we’re excited to get peeks of Maxon and America while we’re finding out what their daughter is up to.
The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon
You know we loved Warden. Ummm. We meant, The Bone Season. This one was at the top of our most wanted list! We’ve already read it and we can’t wait for you guys to check it out too!
Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins
Rachel Hawkins can practically do no wrong in our eyes (except that pesky not finishing the School Spirits Series). She writes amazing kick-ass characters and swoony situations like nobody’s business. We can’t wait for more of Harper!
The Pretty App by Katie Sise
The Boyfriend App was one of our favorite reads of 2013, and we’re so excited that Katie Sise is continuing this series! Make sure this one is on your lists too.
PS I Still Love You by Jenny Han
Rogue by Julie Kagawa
Dragons. Do we need to say more? How about this: Dragons + Julie Kagawa = Pure Awesome.
The Rose Society by Marie Lu
Truly, Madly, Famously by Rebecca Serle
The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
We will always want more more more of these characters and this world. We loved The Winner’s Curse and meeting Marie Rutkoski at BEA last year. Just when we thought she couldn’t top the first book she went and amazed us with book two. The wait for the last book is going to kill. You should be miserably impatient with us!
Let us know how our list stacked up with yours. What sequels are you most excited for this year?
