Nix is sixteen years old and has lived her whole life on Temptation, her father’s boat. Her father can Navigate to any time, any place, so long as he has valid map. Ever since Nix’s mother died in childbirth, Slate, Nix’s father, has been on the hunt for a map that will bring him back to his lost love.

Nix seems to be the only one afraid that going back to that time may not be the best thing to do. She fears her very life may be taken from her if they succeed in going back.

What We Loved:

When we got to the 70% mark of this book, we started freaking out because we were unaware that there would be a sequel. We loved this epic journey and we definitely did not want it to end. We really liked all of the myths and mythical items that were in the story, one of our favorites being Swag. Every myth fit perfectly into the story line and that was another thing we adored; it just flowed seemingly effortlessly.
