Since “player falls in love” is one of our all time favorite tropes, we thought we would love this one. We liked it, but we didn’t love it.

What We Loved:
We thought this story had some fun times and some swoony moments.
Um...Not So Much:
We had trouble connecting with the characters. There was a lot of drama, and the whole book seemed kind of immature to us.
Bottom Line:
If you like young YA with clean romance, you might enjoy Playing the Player by Lisa Brown Roberts.
