Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the Top Ten 2014 Releases We’re Dying To Read. This was another impossible list. Maybe it’s because we are greedy, or because all our favorite authors (and some new ones!) are pumping out books that we are dying to get our hands on, but either way we can already tell that 2014 is going to be an amazing year for books. A few weeks ago we posted this list of sequels we were desperate to get our hands on. We decided since we already gave you those, we’d go a different route with this list. We may have had a hard time narrowing it down, but in the end we love our list.
We’re Dying To Read:
Alienated
Awesome cover? Check. Potential Swoony Boy? Check. Summary that makes us desperate for the book? Double check. We cannot wait to read this debut by Melissa Landers.
Defy
Sara B. Larson grabbed our attention from the very beginning with the summary of Defy. Our first thought? OMG this sounds like a grown-up Mulan! When can we have it?? We can’t wait to get our hands on this one.
The Geography of You and Me
We’ve been in love with Jennifer E. Smith since the second we opened The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. We have no doubt that there will be a swoony boy in TGoYaM. We pretty excited to meet him.
Landline
It’s Rainbow Rowell. Do we really need to say anything else? We’ll just add this. She gave us Eleanor, Park, Levi, Cath, Lincoln, and Beth. Enough said? We thought so. We are definitely dying for this one.
On the Fence
Kasie West is definitely one of our favorites. The words “boy next door” and “romantic comedy” had us making grabby hands for this one. Then we saw the cover and started swooning even harder than before. Eeeeek!
Open Road Summer
The question for this one is not why are we dying for it, but why wouldn’t we be. It’s got the cover, great character names, and a summary that promises all kinds of swoons. We’re really excited to meet Matt.
Rebel Belle
Even though we’re sad that there won’t be more Archer Cross in this one, we can’t wait to meet David Stark. Rachel Hawkins is amazing and we can’t wait to read what she has in store for us in this new series.
Second Star
A Peter Pan retelling? We’re definitely in. We love this twist on a classic and we can’t wait to get to know Pete. Is it May yet?
Sublime
We absolutely love the cover of this one! We’ve know for years that these two can really, really write and we’re beyond thrilled that they are bringing us some awesome YA. We can’t wait to meet their swoony boy and read all of the awesomeness that we know they have in store for us!

Take Me On
Katie McGarry can do no wrong. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again- we want a book for ALL of her characters. This series could go on forever and we’re hoping that it does. We can’t wait to see Haley and West’s story unfold. Of course, we’re also anxious to see glimpses of more Isaiah and Rachel!
What I Thought Was True
This list would not be complete without this title. We’ve been dying for this one from the second we knew it existed. Huntley Fitzpatrick was generous enough to send a copy our way and we can’t wait to devour it. Do we even need to tell you how excited we are to meet Cass? (The answer is SUPER excited!)
So, there’s our list. What 2014 releases are you dying for? Let us know below!

I cannot wait to read DEFY! This was a very hard (giggle) list to make! Starting tomorrow I have the next couple of weeks to read whatever I want. How am I going to decide what order to read them in?
Alienated is very high on my 2014 list! My kind of book!
Great picks! I read an ARC of Alienated and have to say that it was actually one of my favourite reads of 2013, after I finished it I immediately pre-ordered my own copy of the book. I hope you love it when you finally get it. My TTT
I have the ARC of Alienated sitting on my shelf just taunting my reading schedule! I can’t wait to get to it. Glad you loved it!!
Great list! I also have Katie McGarry’s Take Me On 🙂 Here is my TTT: http://elliereadsfiction.blogspot.com/2013/12/top-ten-tuesday-12.html
I went to goodreads to look at the descriptions for these and ended up adding all of them to my TBR list lol! Great choices!
