The doorway between the magical Visempirum and the human world has been reopened. Paladin are once more living in the citadel where Zuhra and Inara grew up completely isolated by the magical hedge that trapped them there. Amidst the brewing conflict between the Paladin and humans looms the threat of Barloc, who has stolen Inara’s immense power and continues to elude the Paladin who are desperately searching for him.
In this sequel to Sisters of Shadow and Light, Inara and Zuhra must navigate the treacherous paths of self-discovery, their love for each other, and for the boys who have captured their hearts. Together, they search for the strength within themselves to bridge the divide between the two worlds they inhabit, even as war threatens to destroy everything—and everyone—they love.
3 Reasons You Should Read…
Warriors of Wing and Flame by Sara B. Larson
- We think Sara B. Larson is one of the most underrated YA authors out there. We love all of her books and wish
more peopleeveryone would read them.
- This book features one of our very favorite things: sister love. We are all about the swoon of course, but the way Inara and Zuhra love each other and lean on each other is so beautiful. There’s romance, too! 😉
- We’re total suckers for fairy tales. It could have something to do with the fact that we’re both princesses. 👸👸 Sara B. Larson has created an enthralling world that we just can’t help getting lost in! After the cliffhanger in Book One, we were so happy to dive back in.
- Honorable Mention: this isn’t enough to be a real reason since there are so many other good ones that should put this book at the top of your lists this week, but did you notice that it’s a duology?!?! How refreshing! We’ll always want more, but we’re so happy we don’t have to wait another year to get to the conclusion. #Thankyou
