We don’t know what we can say about this book without giving away too much of what happened in Loop, but the summary is pretty spot on.
What We Loved:
We love Finn, and that won’t change, even though we feel like we barely got to see him here.
Um...Not So Much:
The biggest thing that we outright hated was the love triangle. Sure, we get it. It wasn’t “really” a love triangle. But we didn’t want to read about Bree making out with her nemesis all the time. Ew. We wonder if Akins really was trying to figure out a way for Wyck to be with Bree instead, but she kind of couldn’t do that. *shrugs*
Also, wth is up with that cover? The first one was beautiful!
Bottom Line:
We’re not sure we’re glad we read this one. The time-travel aspect was interesting and there was a lot going on here, but we weren’t fans of the pseudo-love triangle and the confusing plot elements.
