Can the best thing happen at the worst time?
Her dad went crazy. Her mom left town. She has bills to pay and a little sister to look after. Now is not the time for level-headed seventeen-year-old Lucille to fall in love. But love—messy, inconvenient love—is what she's about to experience when she falls for Digby Jones, her best friend's brother. With blazing longing that builds to a fever pitch, Estelle Laure's soulful debut will keep readers hooked and hoping until the very last page.
3 Reasons You Should Read…
This Raging Light by Estelle Laure
- This book has one of our favorite tropes: falling in love with the brother’s best friend? Yes, please.
- This debut is well-written and will stay with you a long time. There might be tears. Okay, there might be a lot of tears.
- We love that the MC, Lucille, falls for her brother’s best friend. Did we mention that already? Yes, but the reason that’s so surprising is that Lucille always has it together–she has to–until she just can’t help the way she feels about Digby. We love that she loses control when she’s trying to hold on so hard because that’s real life. And a great story.
